Accessing members
Open your account menu, choose Settings, then Organization. Who works here lists everyone in the workspace with their role and seat, then any invites still waiting. Inviting needs a Team plan. What each role can do
For stock, a Manager can also sign off write-offs and stock counts, and a Designer can’t write anything off or change prices. See Tashvi One for the full stock permissions.
How it works
1. Invite someone
In Who works here, type their email, choose a role, and for a Manager or Designer choose a Standard or Premium seat. Press Invite.- The invite lasts 7 days. It shows in the list with its role and expiry date until it’s accepted.
- Press Withdraw on an invite to take it back, for example if you mistyped the address.
- If Tashvi couldn’t email the person, the invite still works. Ask them to sign in with that address and open Settings → Organization, or go to design.tashvi.ai/join.
2. They accept
The person presses Accept invitation in the email and signs in with the address it was sent to. If their email isn’t verified yet, the join page asks them to confirm it first and can resend the link. Someone who already uses Tashvi sees the invite under Invitations received in Settings → Organization, with Accept and Decline. Accepting moves them into your workspace.3. Change a role
The Owner picks a new role from the menu on the person’s row. The change takes effect the next time they load the workspace.- You can’t change your own role, and the Owner’s role can’t be changed here.
- Moving an Admin to Manager or Designer gives them a paid seat.
4. Remove someone
The Owner, a Manager, or an Admin presses the remove button on the person’s row, and the person no longer has access to the workspace.- Everything they recorded in Tashvi One stays, under their name.
- Designs they shared with the workspace stay in the shared library. Their private designs become the workspace’s after 14 days.
- Their seat stays paid until your renewal, so you can bring someone else in during that time at no extra cost.
- If you invite them back within 14 days, their private designs stay private.
5. Leave a workspace
Anyone but the Owner can leave. In Settings → Organization, choose Leave workspace and confirm. You lose access to the workspace’s designs and stock straight away, and you’re back in your own workspace. To return, someone has to invite you again. Designs you shared stay with the workspace. Your private designs become the workspace’s after 14 days, unless you’re invited back before then.6. Make someone else the owner
The Owner presses Make owner on a Manager’s or Designer’s row and confirms. That person becomes the Owner, you become a Manager, and Team invoices go to them from then on. Only they can make you the owner again. Handing over the workspace doesn’t change your bill.Only a Manager or Designer can become the Owner. To hand the workspace to an Admin, change their role to Manager or Designer first, then press Make owner.
Seats and limits
- A workspace always needs at least one person who can create designs.
- You can have two Admins for every paid seat. To add more, add a paid seat first.
- A workspace can have up to 50 people.
Credits
Each paid seat has its own monthly credits, and Admins use none. See Billing and credits.Tips for best results
- Give each person the least they need: a Designer can design and sell, and a Manager can also sign off stock counts and write-offs.
- Use Admin for your accountant: they see the books and pay the bill without a paid seat.
- Decide your next owner early: keep at least one trusted Manager, so a handover is one press away.
Troubleshooting
- There’s no Invite form: the workspace needs a Team plan, and your role must be Owner, Manager, or Admin.
- “That workspace is not on a Team plan yet”: the person who invited you needs to set up the Team plan, then you open the invite again.
- “That invitation was sent to a different email address”: sign in with the address the invite went to.
- “That invitation has expired”: invites last 7 days. Ask for a new one.
- “That workspace cannot add another person in that role right now”: the workspace has hit a seat rule, such as the limit on Admins. The Owner adds a paid seat or changes a role, then you try again.
- “Only a Manager or Designer can own the workspace”: change the person’s role first, then make them the owner.
- “To leave, make someone else the owner first”: you’re the Owner. Hand the workspace over, then leave.
